Swimming is also available on the lake, a short distance from Mallards Landing. There are two beaches - Jamestown and Linesville. Some of these areas also have bathhouses, showers and concession stands.

Fishing
Pymatuning lake offers a variety of species, including muskellunge, large and small mouth bass, walleyes and carp. For those of you who are boat fishing enthusiasts, both Pennsylvania and Ohio fishing licenses are honored on the lake. However, shore fishing requires a license from the applicable state.

Boating
A variety of boats are permitted on Pymatuning Lake ranging from sailboats, rowboats and canoes to boats having a motor with a maximum of up to 20 hp. Boats not equipped with a motor must have either an Ohio or PA boat launch permit. Wilson boat launch is just a few minutes away.
